SAN ANGELO, Texas – Angelo State baseball's
Jacob Guerrero continued to garner honors for his performance against St. Mary's last week, earning NCBWA National Hitter of the Week.
Guerrero, a junior accounting major from Colleyville, Texas, went 10-for-14 with two home runs, a double, four walks and 11 RBIs to lead the Rams to three road wins over the Rattlers. He also scored seven runs, was hit by two pitches and stole two bases.
He is hitting .436 and leads the conference in on base percentage (.550) and OPS (1.293).
The Rams are back at home this weekend as they host Lubbock Christian in a four-game series beginning on Friday, Mar. 22.
