Eva Schwartz was named to the Academic All-District Team, the organization announced this morning.
The Academic All-District Team is selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), in order to recognize student-athletes for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom. To be nominated, a student-athlete must play in over 70 percent of their matches and have a 3.50 or higher GPA.
Schwartz, is a graduate senior Business Administration major from L'isle-sur-la-Sorgue, France. Schwartz was a critical component to the Rambelles lineup this season, starting the majority of the season at line one singles for the Rambelles. Avery Durham, was a dominant force in doubles action. Durham and Schwartz made it to the championship match of the ITA Doubles Cup to begin the year. Schwartz and Durham ended the year with a 14 - 4 overall record, clinching multiple doubles points for the Rambelles throughout the season, the pair ended the season ranked 13th in the nation in doubles.
