Lexington, Ky. – The Angelo State volleyball program was recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as earning the 2025 Team Academic Award, sponsored by Intent.
To earn the award, teams must maintain a year-long team GPA of 3.30 or higher.
This is the 14

"It is very exciting to see that the record-setting, on-court successes during the 2024-25 season have extended to the classroom," says AVCA CEO Jaime Gordon. "The fact that more programs earned the Team Academic Award than ever before is evidence of how committed our coaches are when it comes to helping their players reach their goals as both students and athletes."
The Belles are coming off a 2024 campaign in which they went 32-3 overall and 15-1 in LSC play, winning the LSC Tournament, the South Central Regional, and advancing to the Final Four for the first time in program history.
