FRISCO, Texas – With the Lone Star Conference Championship Tournament approaching, the league announced its 2025-26 postseason awards Thursday evening at a banquet in Frisco. Angelo State University's
Majik Esquivel and
Landry Morrow earned All-Conference honors.
Esquivel, a sophomore majoring in commercial aviation, was named to the First Team after leading the Rambelles in scoring at 17.2 points per game — the second-highest average in the conference. The Lubbock native shot 40.5% from the field and 30.8% from 3-point range. She also totaled 92 rebounds and 47 steals.
Morrow, a senior health science professions major from Ackerly, Texas, earned Third Team honors. The post averaged 10.1 points per game while shooting 36.7% from the field. She led the team with 5.4 rebounds per game and added 59 assists and 38 steals.
Esquivel, Morrow and the Angelo State women's basketball team will open the conference tournament against UT Tyler Patriots on Friday, March 6, with the tip-off scheduled for noon at the Comerica Center.
