SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State women's basketball team will play Midwestern State on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
The Belles are 13-10 overall and are tied for fourth place in the Lone Star Conference at 7-6. Angelo State is No. 15 nationally and No. 1in the LSC in scoring defense at 59.4 points per game while averaging 60.0 points per game.
ASU has made 38.8-percent of its shots from the field while limited teams to 38.3-percent. The first half has been a key for the Belles outscoring teams 670-625. ASU is 11-1 this season when leading at halftime.
On the road, the Belles are 3-6 and 2-4 in the LSC. Opponents have outscored ASU 68.1-58.0 while also hitting 41.4-percent of their shots from the field compared to just 36.1-percent for the Belles. ASU is averaging 8.7 steals per game and forcing 15.4 turnovers on the road.
Hillari Adam continues to lead the Belles in scoring and rebounding at 12.3 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game. She is ranked ninth in the LSC in scoring and seventh in rebounding. The Wall native has scored in double figures in the last four games and has 14 games of double digit scoring this season.
Rochelle Norris is second on the team in scoring at 8.8 points per game. She is second on the team with 29 steals on the season. The senior has 12 games of double digit scoring this season and grabbed 4.4 rebounds per game this season.
Amanda Weaver, the team's leading 3-point shooter, has hit 39.5-percent of 3-pointers she has taken this season. The Center Point native averages 8.7 points per game this season including 8.4 on the road. She has recorded 26 assists and 23 steals on the year. Â The sophomore is currently third in the LSC in 3-point field goal percentage.
Leah LeMaire, who led the team with 18 points against Texas Woman's, is four on the team in scoring at 7.6 per game. She is the Belles second leading option on the road with her 9.9 average. The senior's last two road games, she has scored 18 and 15.

Karli Kellermeier averages 7.0 points per game. The Wall native has set a career high with points at 21 against Eastern New Mexico and tied a career high with 14 rebounds in the win over Tarleton State. The junior is the Belles leader in steals with 38 and has 28 assists.
Tatitana Haynes is averaging 5.1 points per game overall and 5.8 per game on the road.
Michelle Rosewell is scoring 3.1 per game and is second on the team with 54 assists.
Haylee Oliver is the team's leader with 71 assists on the season while averaging 3.9 points per game.
Midwestern State is 15-9 overall and tied for fourth in the LSC at 7-6. The Mustangs have won five out of their last seven games and the two losses were in overtime.
The first matchup saw a Belles comeback some up just short. Down 39-31 at halftime, ASU outscored Midwestern State in the second half 32-28 but it wasn't enough to overcome the halftime deficit. THe Belles were outscored in the paint 24-18.
Three Mustangs average in double figures including Andrea Carter (15.8), Kirsti Degelia (11.4) and Dianna Jones (10.0).
The all-time series is 28-27 in favor of the Belles. ASU won the last meeting in Wichita Falls 54-48 last season.
