RICHARDSON, Texas - After a weekend shooting 61.5 percent from the field, scoring 37 points over two games,
Sawyer Lloyd was named the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced early Monday Afternoon.

Against Missouri Southern, Lloyd scored 16 points in 28 minutes, shooting 7-11 from the field. The senior guard also pulled down six rebounds, dished out six assists, and had two steals.

In game two against No. 15 Tampa, Lloyd registered her second double-double of the season, scoring a team-high 21 points on 9-15 shooting and grabbing 12 rebounds. The Wall native also had six assists, three steals, and two blocks to cap off the first home games of the season.

Lloyd and the Rambelles will be back in action later this week against Texas A&M - Kingsville (11/30) and Texas A&M International (12-2).Â
