Frisco, Texas - After a sixth-place finish in the Lone Star Conference and a 20-11 record heading into the postseason, the Angelo State women's basketball team earned three all-conference and two all-academic awards, the organization announced Wednesday evening.

Sawyer Lloyd, a Coaching, Sport, Recreation, and Fitness Major in the Grad Program from Wall, Texas, and
Tayjanna McGhee-Pleasant, a Kinesiology Major from Amarillo, Texas, were named to the LSC All-Conference first team. Lloyd averaged 14.8 points per game 6.8 rebounds, 5 assists, and a league-best 2.2 assist/turnover ratio. McGhee-Pleasant led the Rambelles in scoring and rebounding, averaging 15.9 points per game and 8.9 rebounds a game.Â

Madeline Stephens, a Health Science Professions Major from Lubbock, Texas, was named to the LSC All-Conference second team. Stephens averaged 13.5 points per game, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and one steal a game.

Lloyd and Stephens were named to the All-Academic team, being two of the five chosen throughout the league.
