SCOUTING UTPB
Last Meeting: Jan. 13, 2026 (San Angelo, Texas - UTPB 76-67)

Offensively, the Falcons average 61.3 points per game while shooting 42.3 percent from the field, 29.1 percent from beyond the arch and 71.3 percent from the free throw line. The offense continues to be led by Kenadi Rising, who paces the team at 10.6 points per game with Mikalah Buckley providing a strong eight points per game off the bench.
Defensively, UTPB allows 58.8 points per game, which includes allowing 36.4 percent of shots from the field. Furthermore, the Falcons average over 32.4 rebounds per game, led by Rising, who paces the team with 4.9 per game individually.

EXPERIENCE TO SHARE
After fielding one of her youngest squads last season, head coach
Alesha Ellis enters the 2025–26 campaign with a veteran-heavy roster. The Rambelles feature five seniors, one junior, five sophomores, and just two freshmen, giving the team a strong balance of leadership and youthful energy.
NEW FACES, NEW VIBES
The Rambelles welcome four newcomers to the roster this season, highlighted by Division I transfers
Tristin Keller (Abilene Christian) and Stevi Lockheart (Lindenwood). They'll be joined by freshmen
Halle Hughes, a standout from Christoval High School, and
Dragana Scepanovic, a promising European addition who brings international experience to the squad.
2024-25 SEASON RECAP
The story of the Rambelles' 18–12 record in the 2024-25 campaign was one defined by streaks. Angelo State opened the season 2–0 before hitting a three-game skid, only to respond with an 11-game winning streak that propelled them back into contention. A late stretch of ups and downs — two losses, three wins, six losses, and two more victories — ultimately led to a first-round exit in the NCAA South Central Regional at the hands of Texas Woman's University.
