RICHARDSON, Texas – For the second straight week and the third time this season, the Lone Star Conference has named ASU's Majik Esquivel the Offensive Player of the Week the league announced on Monday afternoon.

Esquivel, a sophomore from Lubbock, averaged 25 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists to fuel an unbeaten week against No. 23 Lubbock Christian and Midwestern State. The commercial aviation student helped the Rambelles increase their winning streak to 10 games. She shot 53.5 percent from the floor, made all eight of her free-throw attempts and added a steal and a block. In the 65-58 win over LCU, she had a game-high 24 points. She had scored 20 points or more nine different times this season.

Esquivel and the Rambelles will conclude the regular season with a road trip beginning with a stop in Canyon to face nationally ranked West Texas A&M on Thursday, Feb. 26 with the tip scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
