Aldridge was the first NAIA and Associated Press All-American in ASU program history. He led the Rams in rushing in 1977 and 1978, including a 119-yard and one touchdown performance against Elon College in the NAIA National Championship game. He is tops on the ASU all-time list with 22 100-yard rushing games and third all-time with 3,298 career rushing yards. Aldridge is No. 4 on the career points scored list with 204. After his career at Angelo State, he spent two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and one with the Oakland Invaders of the USFL.
